The mobile-first approach is exactly as it sounds: designing for the smallest screen. And that's not easy because mobile has the most limitations when it comes to communication with your costumers. It requires different content and timing than desktop users.

Therefore our client needs to rethink their mobile communication strategy. That's where you come in! As mobile marketer, you are our ambassador of putting mobile first in all their communication. You lead the way to a more content-focused and therefore user-focused strategy.

Your main responsibility will be acquiring, maintaining and activating the mobile customers. You develop and implement the mobile positioning. Using customer data to communicate the right information to the right customers at the right time. Your goal? Maximize customer engagement, revenues and customer lifetime value.

You will be part of the retention marketing team that manages the following topics: email marketing, mobile marketing, commercial retention and customer insights. It is a team of nine working closely together, balancing working hard and having a lot of fun. A young and ambitious team working in a rapidly changing environment and responsible for the retention revenue in seven European countries.

Job requirements Mobile Retention Marketer

For this position, we are looking for an expert and entrepreneur who thrives on new challenges and will be eager to set up this strategy from scratch. You have already gained experience in a similar role or it was part of your last position. The combination of working in the operations, as well as advising on the strategy is what you love to do. You are a well-rounded marketer (email marketing) with focus in retention and experience in mobile.

You also have:

  • Bachelors and/or Masters degree.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills (knowledge of Pushwoosh is an advantage).
  • A commercial mind set and a hands-on mentality
  • Excellent written and verbal skills in English
