Senior Email Marketer

Do you want to lead the email channel of our client to the next level, thinking through personalisation and segmentation, and making the channel operations more scalable via marketing automation? Then we are looking for you!

As a senior email marketer, you will work as part of the European retention marketing team. The senior email marketer will be leading the email marketing strategy and ambition, bringing the email channel to the next level, making operations more scalable and embracing personalisation and automation. You will be responsible for the development of email strategy and implementation. You’ll use customer data to be more personal and relevant to maximize sales and customer lifetime value. You will work together with other email professionals managing email campaigns and projects across seven European countries.

You will be part of the retention marketing team that manages the following topics: email marketing, mobile marketing, retention marketing and customer Insights.

Every day you will apply your commercial talent and interest in ecommerce to deliver optimal results.

Main responsibilities

As a Senior Email Marketer you will be responsible for the segmentation strategy and implementation within the email channel. You will also be responsible for event and behavior triggered, transactional and commercial email campaigns. Next to that, you will:

• Develop and implement our clients email strategy.
• Develop email center of excellence, steer on continuously a/b testing and email optimisation.
• Identify, acquire, and integrate new tools and technologies for marketing automation, embrace automation.
• Responsible for gaining relevant customer data, moving from static to organic customer data collecting.
• Managing the budget, forecasting and results of the email channel.
• Leading cross department projects and the email marketing team.

To be the best candidate for this job, you will have at least 3-5 years’ experience in email marketing. You thrive in a senior position and have great project management skills. You are able to work under pressure without losing your sense of humor and fun. Next to that, you have:

• An academic degree (WO)
• Strong technical and analytical skills with the affinity for customer data
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Excellent written and verbal skills in English
• Understanding of MS Excel and ESP’s (preferably Clang)
• Easy, adaptable and curious to work with different tooling
